Women's football fever is here! The Welsh women's team have played games at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea, Parc y Scarlets in Llanelli, Rodney Parade in Newport and at the Cardiff City Stadium. After the Principality Stadium, it is the second-largest stadium in Cardiff and in Wales. It officially holds 33,280 supporters. It is the home of Cardiff City Football Club and the Wales national football team.

Welsh Restaurant

Thomas Restaurant is ideal to fuel up before the event. The team serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, evening a-la-carte or traditional roasts on Sunday. A homemade Taste of Wales Afternoon Tea is served daily between 1pm-5pm or our set menu offers 3 courses for £25 daily from 5pm.

A large selection of drinks is also available, including popular local brands. Our Welsh drink selection includes Brains beers, Penderyn whiskey and vodka, Benjamin Hall gins, and Cariad wines. An extensive gin and mixer menu and 2 for £16 cocktails

Room service is available 24 hours a day.


Getting to The Cardiff City Stadium from Future Inn Cardiff

By Car

The Cardiff City Stadium is a 10-minute taxi ride from Future Inn Cardiff. Parking is available for away fans for £10 per car. Spaces are limited, so it is recommended that you arrive early.

By Bus

The number 1 City Circle bus goes from in front of County Hall a 5-minute walk from the hotel and takes you directly to Leckwith Close, a 2-minute walk to the Cardiff City Stadium. 

By Train

The Cardiff Bay train station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel and takes you to Cardiff Queen Street. You need to change trains and head to Grangetown or Ninian Park station (recommended), a further 5-minute walk to the Cardiff City Stadium.

By Bike

Nextbike operates in Cardiff, and a station is at the end of Hemmingway Road, near Cardiff Bay train station, a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It would then take approximately 14-minutes to cycle to the Nextbike station at Cardiff City Stadium. There are limited bike racks at Cardiff City if you wish to use your own.  Future Inn Cardiff is a cycle-friendly hotel, and we allow guests to keep bikes in their room with cycle mats supplied.  

On Foot

It would take around 45-minutes to walk via Sloper Road from the hotel.
