Hotel FAQ's

Check in is from 2pm on the scheduled day of arrival, unless otherwise stated on the booking confirmation.

It is possible to arrange early check-in or late check-out, depending on the time you want to arrive or depart. An additional charge will be added to your final bill. The Hotel Reservations Team can discuss your requirements on 0117 304 1010 or by emailing reservations.bristol@futureinns.co.uk.

Yes, some of the Future Inns Bristol bedrooms are modified for those who may need accessible equipment or requirements such as walk-in showers and wet rooms. Find out more about our accessible rooms here.

We offer parking for all of our overnight guests and have sufficient parking spaces at Cabot Circus. Parking is £9 per night. All owners leave their cars at their own risk. The management will not accept responsibility for damage, accident or loss.

The postcode for Cabot Circus multi-storey car park is BS2 9AB. The entrance is located 50 metres past BJJ MMA unit on your left (previously Office Outlet), next to Enterprise car rental. You will need to obtain a ticket at the car park entrance and park in an appropriate space. Your ticket can be validated at Reception in Future Inns Bristol until 1 pm on the day of departure. If you fail to validate your ticket, a refund for any charges will not be authorised.

Follow the instructions to avoid entering the Bristol Clean Air Zone. We recommend double-checking if your car will be charged beforehand. 

At the rear of the hotel is our drop-off zone, where cars can stop for a maximum of 15 minutes. Any vehicles in the zone after this time period will be fined. The hotel takes no responsibility for this and will not be able to reverse the charge.   

Blue badge holders can park in the drop-off zone. As these spaces are limited, please mention this when booking. Your vehicle will need to be registered at Reception when you arrive. Parking is £9 per car per night.

Coaches are able to pull into the bus lane in front of the hotel or use our drop-off zone at the back of the hotel. The coach will be able to park overnight at the Fruit Market.

Our Reception is open 24 hours and our colleagues will be at your service day and night.

Assistant dogs are accepted with prior arrangement, but otherwise, no pets are allowed at the hotel.

Children and families are more than welcome to stay at Future Inn Bristol. Children under 12 stay free of charge when sharing a room with at least one adult, using existing beds on a room only basis. All children (a person under 18 years of age) staying at the Hotel must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times.

A babysitting service is not available at the hotel.

Unfortunately, it is against the law to smoke indoors or in public places. However, we do have a designated smoking area outside.

Guests found possessing or using illicit drugs as defined by law during their stay will be required to leave immediately, and may be held criminally liable.

In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, at the time of booking or at check-in, guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference and their passport/identity card/driving licence. If guests are travelling from outside the UK, Ireland or any country in the Commonwealth, we are also obliged by law to require guests to provide the number and place of issue of your passport/identity card and details of their next destination. We reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information set out above.

These records will be kept for up to 7 years and may be disclosed or made available for inspection by any police officer or as otherwise required by applicable law in connection with the prevention or investigation of crime. The information above may be requested for each member of your party over the age of 18.

All rooms that have been secured by credit/debit card or prepaid at the time of booking will be held until 11:59 pm on the scheduled day of arrival, unless the guest has notified the hotel of late arrival. We are unable to accept cash payments.

Gift vouchers can be exchanged for goods and services. All vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If the intended purchase is for a higher amount than the face value, the difference will need to be made up in cash; for a lower amount no change can be given. We reserve the right to discontinue a voucher at any time or to modify any offers. Vouchers cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged. The date which each voucher is valid is noted, and the voucher cannot be used after this date. Vouchers must be produced at the time of use. A guarantee on a credit or debit card will be taken and will be used if the voucher is not produced or does not meet the above. Bookings cannot be made on our website if you want to pay with a gift voucher, these do need to be made directly with the Hotel.

Wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel and in all guest rooms free of charge.

Unfortunately, this is not something we are able to offer. The airport shuttle is a short walk from the hotel as well as a short walk to the local train or bus routes. Our colleagues are also happy to assist you to find your public transport or call a taxi for you.

Depending on what has been lost, broken or damaged we reserve the right to charge your debit or credit card for any damage incurred to your room or property in the hotel during your stay, including specialist cleaning.

The daily rate is flexible and may change depending on availability, and may also be affected by local events. When you book a rate, this is secured and will not change unless you make any amendments outside of your restrictions.

The standard double, standard king, city twin and city king can only sleep two guests. The accessible bedroom and superior king room can sleep up to three guests, and the superior double can sleep up to four guests. Room rates are based on two sharing, and additional guests are an additional £20 each. Under 12’s stay free of charge. 

The minimum age for booking a hotel room is age 18. Younger guests are welcome to stay as long as there is an adult in the room.

Travel cots can be provided. Please write this as a note if you book online or email reservations.bristol@futureinns.co.uk with your booking reference number.

More than one room can be booked at a time. These can be for the same dates for additional guests or additional future dates. In the online booking engine, there is a book another room button above the continue button. Pre-booking is highly recommended to guarantee a reservation. However, we do accept walk-in bookings. These are subject to availability and must be paid in full before checking in. 

The hotel has a restaurant, bar, and conference and event facilities. Parking for Blue Badge holders is available at the back of the hotel, or parking for all hotel guests at Cabot Circus (next door) for £9 per night

You can make a request for a particular room or floor. Unfortunately, this can not be guaranteed, but we will do our best to make sure it happens. Some of the city king rooms and city twin rooms interconnect. 

Chophouse Bar and Restaurant is on-site and open daily for breakfast, lunch and evening a-la-carte dining. Serving ribs, chops and grills as well as British cuisine, homemade on-site using local ingredients and produce. The bar serves alcoholic and soft drinks throughout the day.

Future Club Rewards FAQ's

To reward our loyal customers, Future Inns UK offers guests the opportunity to collect points and win prizes. The more points you earn the better the prize.  For every £1 you spend on accommodation in the bar or restaurant, you earn 1 reward point. Benefits include complimentary drinks vouchers, access to exclusive members-only promotions and for every 400 points you earn, you can claim a complimentary room upgrade. Find out more here.

When you join the Future Club Rewards Program, you will be given a personal membership account which you can access online and check the number of points you have accumulated. 

The rules are simple. For every £1 you spend on accommodation and in the bar and restaurant, you will earn 1 reward point on your personal Future Club Rewards membership account. Whether you are staying with Future Inns on business or leisure, you can choose one of the generous rewards once you have accumulated enough points.

You do need to set up an account to access the benefits. This is our way of making sure the points are properly counted. It is easy to set up and free to join.

Chophouse Restaurant FAQ's

Some of our overnight stays include a full English buffet breakfast. For those who do not have it included, you can add this to your booking at any time for £15 per person.  Please note, if you do not pre-book your breakfast and decide to dine on the day the charge is £17 per person. Children under 12 years of age can add breakfast for £7.50 per child (or £8.50 on the day), and for under 5’s this is complimentary. 

Some of our overnight packages include an evening meal. However, Chophouse Restaurant is open until 10pm every day and serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

As our food is homemade in house, we are able to assist anyone who has a special diet or allergies and intolerances.  If you require a vegetarian or vegan diet, or if you need a gluten-free or dairy-free meal, please mention this when booking. It is essential that these are pre-ordered, giving us as much notice as possible, so they can be made for you.

Children are more than welcome in Chophouse Restaurant. Under 5's can dine with us for free with a paying adult throughout the year, including during the school holidays.

Large tables may also be asked for a deposit to guarantee the table for you. 

Chophouse Bar and Restaurant is our open-plan restaurant, found on the ground floor, so no ramps or alternative routes are needed. There is booth seating and tables where a chair can be easily removed for a wheelchair. Parking is next door at Cabot Circus. Diners get 50% off. Or Blue Badge parking can be found at the back of the building for £9 per night.

There are no time limits for our table sittings. In busy times, this may be the case, but you will be told at the time of booking. 

Yes, Chophouse Restaurant has high chairs. 

There is no formal dress code in Chophouse Bar and Restaurant. Most guests who attend are in smart casual attire.

At Christmas, we host a full schedule of party nights and a Festive Lunch in the Chophouse Restaurant. We can also help organise your private Christmas party.

Please be aware that at certain times throughout the year our hotel may host weddings, events and private parties. Please contact the Hotel directly in advance of your stay for further information.

At Future Inn Bristol, you can host a business meeting, conference, networking event, training day, corporate event, seminar, workshop, presentation, team building days, exhibitions, interviews, award dinner, informal gatherings, charity event, birthday party, anniversary dinner, baby shower, weddings, Christmas parties, school prom, funerals and wakes, live music events, clairvoyant evenings and comedy nights.

All of our meeting rooms are on the top floor and include free Wi-Fi, data projection or flat-screen TV, flipchart and pens, temperature control and blackout facilities, and reduced parking fees at Cabot Circus. Rooms can be booked for room hire only, half or day delegate packages or overnight residential packages.

In some instances, we will require a pre-order. It is essential that any dietary requirements and medical allergies are provided to us before your arrival.

Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times, and not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the hotel, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision has been breached. Where this is the case we have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.

All conference and event suites have climate control. 

The event facilities are found on the sixth floor, with lift access. Once there, the large doors and corridors allow you to easily navigate between the suites. Free parking and blue badge parking can be found at the back of the hotel. And there is a disabled toilet in the conference and wedding corridor next to the other bathrooms. This is a short distance away. 

Delegate packages start from £28 per person and include room hire. Whereas catering packages start from £12.50 per person. Depending on which room you would like to hire and for how long, prices start from £200.

Yes, meeting rooms can be booked for multiple days. We’ll just need to double-check availability.

Wedding FAQ's

With us, as far as you like. However, Bristol Registrar's Office will have their own calendar to make sure they have the date, time and availability for the celebrants. 

If you want to get married at Future inns, this will depend on the availability of celebrants at the Bristol Registrar's Office. If our wedding and event spaces are available, we can do short notice.

Payments can be made by credit or debit card (excluding American Express) or bank transfer. All payments are to be made in advance of the booking date. 

A £500 deposit is required to secure the wedding date along with your signed contract. Please note, that we recommend checking with the Bristol Registrar Office availability beforehand.

A further £500 is to be paid 6 months before the wedding day, and the final balance cleared 4-6 weeks prior to the wedding date. 

The responsibility to book the Registrar is with the couple getting married. For weddings at Future Inns this is with Bristol Registrar Office. 

This is not an option we provide. However, we are happy to make recommendations.

The ceremony time will need to be confirmed with Bristol Registrar's Office. We recommend between 1-3pm, however, this is entirely up to you. The Reception is usually held 2-3 hours afterwards to give you time for photographs and to mingle with your guests. 

Future Inn Bristol is licensed for weddings indoors. However, there is an outside terrace area for guests to use.

Typically, after the ceremony has finished you and your guests will have photographs taken. There is then time for refreshments. During this time, our wedding team and any suppliers you have booked will change the event space around ready for everyone to sit down for a meal. If you are having additional evening guests, there may be an additional need to change the room around and for entertainment to set up. 

Wedding guests should RSVP via the couple getting married, rather than the venue. 

The wedding team at Future Inns will have a meeting with the couple 6-8 weeks before the big day to discuss the finer details. Here is where we will confirm final numbers, and talk about suppliers coming onto the site and their timings, plus menus and dietary requirements.

We can help you set up a camera or laptop so guests can log on and view your wedding virtually.

We know that the catering at your wedding is important. All of our food is homemade on-site by our talented chefs, using some of the finest local produce and ingredients. There is a range of menus for you to choose from, or if you would like to build your own, we can cost this appropriately for you.

It is best to put all dietary requirements in writing to us, and make it easy to identify that person on the day. 

If you wish to have an open bar, this is something that can be arranged. Drinks packages are also available. 

Wedding cars can stop directly outside the hotel reception doors. Or, if you prefer in our small car park at the back of the hotel. 

If you wish to get ready at Future Inns, we recommend booking a bedroom for the night before. Alternatively, we can arrange one of our meeting rooms to be used, for an additional cost.

The wedding suites are private. You may encounter other guests in common areas of the hotel such as the restaurant bar and bathrooms. 

We are happy to work with other wedding suppliers or have recommendations for you. These are to be arranged by yourself.

Unfortunately, we do not allow outside catering. Apart from a wedding cake and favours. 

A corkage charge per bottle will be in place if you want to bring your own alcohol. 

That sounds exciting. As long as we have enough space for them and your suppliers have full liability insurance this is possible. 

The bar is open until 12pm Sunday to Thursday and until 1am Friday and Saturday.

Book your wedding breakfast and evening buffet with us and our luxurious Superior King Room is complimentary for the happy couple on the night of the wedding. Special bed and breakfast accommodation rates can be offered for those who want to stay overnight.  

This is something that can be arranged. There will be an additional room hire charge.

We have had external companies host wedding fayres at Future Inns, and occasionally we will hold a showcase evening. Please speak to the Wedding Team to ask if there is anything coming up.

Car Parking is available for overnight guests at the Cabot Circus multi-storey car park, directly across the road from Future Inn Bristol. Parking is £9 per car per night.

The postcode for Cabot Circus Car Park is BS2 9AB. Keep the ticket from the barrier and ask the reception team to validate it on your checkout. Refunds cannot be issued if you fail to validate your ticket at reception and settle the charge at the car park. Please note the height restriction is 2.15m / 7.05ft.

The car park main entrance is 50 meters past the BJJ MMA unit (previously Office Outlet) on your left, next to Enterprise car rental.

Upon arrival, drive straight in and take a ticket. Parking for the hotel is available on all levels. However, we advise guests to park nearer the ground floor for easier access. Make your way to the hotel via the exit on the ground floor marked ‘Shop Mobility’. The hotel is signposted from the ground floor level of the car park.

Visitors for business conferences can get discounted parking if pre-arranged, and diners in Chophouse Restaurant and Jazz at Future Inns get 50% off parking. 

Please note to avoid entering the chargeable Bristol Clean Air Zone, the use of the M32 into the city is required. If your vehicle is not compliant and you enter and exit the car park by the main entrance, you will have to pay the daily charge. Enter via Houlton Street and again exit on the same street, turning right towards Lawrence Hill to avoid paying the daily charge.

We recommend double-checking your car's eligibility before travelling.
