Do you enjoy wine tasting evenings? They are a great excuse to try winning wines from around the world, such as Pinot Noir, sparkling wines, or cider from vineyards in Wales and England. As a wine lover, a wine tasting party is one of the more creative ways to improve your palate and enjoy some lively discussions.

Call My Bluff is an exciting and informal wine tasting. Six wines will be tasted “blind” (the wine is unknown to everyone but the hosts), and the hosts will try to convince the teams to choose the “correct” wines.
Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams. Book an evening filled with laughter, great wines and some frivolity!
A charcuterie platter per table will accompany the glasses of wine.

Our friends at Fine Wines will host the wine tasting evening. On the evening, you will taste three pairs of premium-quality wines: two white wines, two red wines, and one other surprise pair. They will be tasted "blind," so no one will know what the wines are - except the hosts, of course!
For each wine you taste, Greg (Fine Wines Direct Managing Director) will try to convince you that it is one type of wine, and Antoinette (Fine Wines Direct Wine School Manager) will try to persuade you it is another type of wine.
Using your palette and the hints and tips you get on the evening, you will decide which wines are which. The wines will eventually be revealed, and you may be surprised!
Our air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms are equipped with all you would expect of a 4-star hotel. All bedrooms are finished with authentic Canadian furniture - a nod to our heritage - soft furnishings, and a bath with a shower room.

Please ensure you enter your car registration details on one of the consoles in the restaurant or hotel reception when you arrive. This is to avoid being sent a parking penalty notice. Have an electric car? Please take advantage of our electric car charging station while you’re at the event.
The open-plan event suite is on the ground floor, so no ramps or alternative routes are needed. Free and blue badge parking can be found directly in front of the venue's entrance.
