What better way is there to spend a Sunday than with a long, lazy lunch with family and friends?
Join us for one of our generous seasonal roast options, served every week, and enjoy the great British tradition. We like to think it's one of the best Sunday Lunch in Cardiff. We offer a traditional Sunday Lunch, all freshly prepared in our kitchens every weekend. With a selection of meats, a vegetarian option, and familiar favourites such as roast potatoes, all of which can be covered in a delicious gravy.
The welcoming, cosy Cardiff Bay restaurant is open to the public as well as hotel residents, and we pride ourselves on providing the best, mouth-watering dishes using fresh local ingredients. Thomas Restaurant has gained an excellent reputation and is the perfect setting for a family celebration, a catch-up with friends, or an intimate dinner for two.
We offer a two or three-course roast dinner Cardiff with a choice of locally sourced and seasonal vegetables, all freshly prepared in our kitchens. Each week there is a selection of different meats, from Welsh roast beef to roast chicken or pork belly. And maybe even a side of cauliflower cheese.
All of our dishes, including our roast dinner, are homemade on-site. We use local and fresh produce to give you a true Taste of Wales.
1 course for £13 per person
2 courses for £16 per person
3 courses for £19 per person
Served between 12pm-5pm every Sunday in Thomas Restaurant.
Pre-booking is highly recommended
Large tables will require a £5 per person deposit. Our Restaurant Team will be in touch to arrange the payment if you book online. The booking will be cancelled if the customer is uncontactable.

As our Sunday Lunch is homemade in house, we are able to assist anyone who has a special diet or allergies and intolerances. If you require a vegetarian or vegan spread, or if you need gluten or dairy-free for example, please mention this when booking. It is essential that these are pre-ordered, giving us as much notice as possible, so they can be made for you.
It's always so much nicer when someone else cooks it for you, and even nicer again going out for it The portion size is very generous with loads of different veggies, stuffing, a big Yorkshire, all of the goodies that make a roast great. I couldn't decide between beef or gammon so went for both. I liked that the beef was still kinda pink, it wasn't tough either. The star of the show for me though was the parsnips. Amazing Sunday lunch. First time for lunch was pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent and so was the service. Portions were quite large and able to have two different meats for those like me who can't make their minds up. Delicious dessert platter to finish off. You can park right outside. Absolute bargain.
