Treat your partner with a trip to The Theatre Royal. It was officially opened in 1982 by Princess Margaret and welcomes, West End Musicals, Opera and Ballet to the stage. There's also the Barbican Theatre and the Plymouth Pavillions where concerts and stand up comedy is performed.

Catch the Cremyll Ferry and follow in the footsteps of the great seafarers of the past. The Plymouth Brethren left from the Barbican harbour area in 1620 for a new life in North America. Celebrations are being held throughout 2020 and 2021 for Mayflower 400. History blogger Hisdoryanhas retraced their steps around the historic sites, with plenty of ideas of where to stop off and visit.
Plym Valley Cycle Trail follows the route of an old Great Western Railway track. With glorious oak woodland and open countryside, the scenery is bound to take your breath away. Of course, Future Inns is cycle-friendly. You can keep your bike in your bedroom, and we even have a guest laundry room if you want to wash and dry any clothing.
