The McGuire Programme

The McGuire Programme is run by stutterers for stutterers.  We hold 4-day courses at Future Inn Bristol.  They are long hours; 7am - 10pm daily. The conference rooms are always great for us, with all that you supply including Powerpoint, sound and air-con. The venue's location is great for us, especially being so close to the shops so we can practice our new speaking techniques in the breaks. We viewed lots of possible hotels and preferred the set up at the Futures Inn. The team are fabulous during the planning process, Seyran, Aaron and the front desk are always first class. The accommodation is great, we get positive feedback from delegates on the beds and accessories in rooms.

The McGuire Programme runs 8 courses a year in the UK.  Two a year in the Future Inn Bristol.  The events usually attract up to 100 people for the 4 days.  The changes in confidence and speech are amazing after, and the 24-hour support network after the course is key to success.

Bristol Safety

I facilitate monthly Fire Safety, First Aid and Health & Safety Training at Future Inns on an open course basis. These are compliance type training courses to demonstrate the management of health, safety and wellbeing provisions within an organisation. There is sufficient space, IT facilities and support for delegates to feel comfortable during training. The central position of the hotel is one of the reasons why we choose the conference centre; it is on the main bus routes and has parking options. During the booking and planning process, the team at Future Inn Bristol are proactive and accommodating

At Bristol Safety - Fire & Safety Training Courses we offer nationally accredited bespoke safety training to enable your staff to manage the health, safety and wellbeing of your business in accordance with compliance requirements and current legislation. Our initial consultation service ensures we get it right first time while our aftercare and support provide you with simple, reliable staff training solutions that fit your business profile.

Keywest Consulting

We have been using the Future Innsconference rooms for close to 2 years now.  We hold our classroom-based training for small numbers and ad-hoc events to include workshops and parties for bigger audiences. Not only is the city centre location of the hotel ideal for our clients, but it is also within proximity to Bristol Temple Meads train station.  We have found the staff at Future Inn Bristol provide a friendly, professional service and aim to resolve queries quickly and even when we have made “unconventional” requests, these have mostly been accommodated.  We have a great working relationship with the Future Inn Bristol team and continue to use their facilities as they cater to and meet our needs as an organisation.

Keywest Consulting sits under Keywest Foundation – a charity – which aims to impart knowledge and information to help better people’s lives through personal development.  To that end, Keywest Consulting provides classroom-based and online training in the following courses – Project Management, Procurement/Supply Chain Management, Agile Scrum and Software Testing.

Bristol Royal Infirmary

Our event was a Regional Governance meeting for the Bristol & Severn ODN (operational delivery network) one of 22 ODN's around the country set up by NHS England in order to deliver Hepatitis C treatment. We have these meetings 3 times a year in order to update all the stakeholders involved in providing care and encouraging our particular patient group to access treatment. This includes other Hospitals, Drug and Alcohol Services, Public Health England, Prison services and Region-wide Health Commissioners.

We need a venue to be of adequate size, adaptable, with the necessary IT equipment, to fit within our budget and easy to locate with parking nearby as we have people coming from around our region including Bath, Gloucester, and Yeovil.

Future Inn Bristol was chosen as it ticked all the boxes for a central location, easy to find just being at the end of the motorway near a large well-signposted shopping centre with parking next door and a good Day Delegate Rate. We had used the venue a couple of years ago so knew it would be suitable and are aware that the Bristol Royal Infirmary uses it for other conferences/ events.

Communication with the team during the planning process was excellent - all emails/queries being dealt with very quickly. This was continued on the day with excellent communication with the dedicated conference host, catering team and reception staff and again any queries/alterations/problems being dealt with immediately.

The facilities we used were very good, modern clean and spacious, the room and equipment were all ready for us well before our planned arrival time. The food was fine, more than sufficient with different options available. The unlimited tea and coffee were a bonus (as in some other venues it is only provided at set times) as were the jars of sweets on the tables - even for our slightly more mature age range.

The Bristol Royal Infirmary is part of the National Health Service, our particular specialty for the meeting is Viral Hepatitis.

5 Star Review's on Trip Advisor

Welcoming, efficient and clean

The staff on reception and in the restaurant at breakfast were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was immaculately clean. My room was on a corner and had a balcony. It was very comfortable and clean. I was delighted. The location is very good. It is within easy walking distance from the station. Cabot Circus is just across the road. I stayed for a conference. The lunch was delicious and we were supplied with a variety of fresh fruit and pastries throughout the day.

Nice hotel

Stayed here whilst on a company induction. The bedroom was immaculate and the bed extremely comfortable. The conference rooms were also good and I thought the facilities on the 6th floor were brilliant. The bar in Chophouse Restaurant was nice and not overly priced. If I ever travel to Bristol for pleasure, I will definitely book this hotel.

"Stopped for one night on a business trip. Our charity held its annual conference here. The service from start to finish was excellent. The room was large, clean and quiet, breakfast was very good. All round a very comfortable stay."

Stayed overnight and attended a conference the next day. We ate in the hotel restaurant and had a lovely meal with wine for a reasonable price. The room was excellent. I had two Queen beds so plenty of room. Toiletries were really nice too. Situated directly across the road from the Cabot’s Circus shopping centre so managed to squeeze in a bit of retail therapy too! The lunchtime food at the conference was very tasty too. Limitless cups of coffee and more biscuits than we could eat. Would thoroughly recommend it.

We have just held our annual charity conference at Future Inns. The service and facilities were spot on and exceeded our expectations. All the staff were efficient and attentive, the food a lunchtime was excellent. It all ran like clockwork and I would highly recommend it for any type of function.

I stayed here in order to go to a conference (The British Go Association Congress) on the sixth floor. Access and parking was very easy. I came from the north, so I took the M32 off the M4 and then led me straight down to Cabot Circus. Turn left into the parking, and that's right next to the hotel (go down to level one and it's round the corner). At the end of my stay, the hotel processed my ticket, and I was able to leave the car park easily. Breakfast was tasty, and this was one of the few hotels where I didn't have to ask for my sausages to be cooked some more. The conference rooms were on the sixth floor, and it was useful that my room was only one floor down. There are drinks machines outside the conference rooms, but they are switched off if they haven't been booked, so it was useful to be able to pop down to my room via the stairs and use the kettle there.

"I use this hotel's conference facilities weekly for a breakfast network meeting - very good facilities. The meeting rooms are very good and lots of options on sizes - the whole top floor can be opened into one huge meeting or conference facility. Service is good, especially from one lady called Laura - nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is kind enough to validate your parking ticket for the Cabot Circus car park next door if using the hotel."
