Thomas Restaurant

Thomas Restaurant is located in Future Inn Cardiff and serves British food, as well as contemporary and traditional Welsh cuisine. We pride ourselves on providing the best, mouth-watering dishes using fresh local ingredients. The welcoming, cosy restaurant in Cardiff Bay is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, evening a-la-carte dining and traditional roasts on Sundays.

A large selection of drinks is also available, including popular local brands. Our Welsh drink selection includes Brains beers, Penderyn whiskey and vodka, Benjamin Hall gins, and Cariad wines. There is an extensive gin and mixer menu and 2 for £16 cocktails. Naturally, there’s a good choice of soft drinks too, including refreshing fruit juices, tea, coffee and mocktails.

Disabled Access

The open-plan restaurant is found on the ground floor, so no ramps or alternative routes are needed. There is booth seating and tables where a chair can be easily removed for a wheelchair. Free parking and blue badge parking can be found directly in front of the restaurant. Admittedly there is no disabled toilet in the restaurant; however, there is one in the conference corridor next to the other bathrooms. This is a short distance away. Be sure to check out our accessible guide to the hotel and restaurant.

Free Parking

Guests at Thomas Restaurant get free parking. Please ensure you enter your car registration details on one of the restaurant consoles or reception consoles when you arrive. This is to avoid being sent a parking penalty notice. Have an electric car? Take advantage of our electric car charging whilst you dine.
