What’s On at the Wales Millennium Centre
As the official hotel partner for the Wales Millennium Centre, we get pretty excited about show announcements, just like you. Here is a list of some of our ‘must-see’ shows at the Centre in 2019, in Cardiff Bay.
It is hard to believe that this year we will be celebrating 15 years of the Wales Millennium Centre. It seems like the striking structure, which is hard to miss when you are in Cardiff Bay, has been on our landscape for much longer.
If you need to plan a date night or mate night, or some time with the family, here are some of the upcoming shows that are bound to get your feet tapping and hands clapping.
Even if you do not already know the story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan, you will be surprised how many of the show's songs you remember. On Your Feet! is a smash-hit musical that has received rave reviews on Broadway and on the West End.
It is the true love story of Emilio and Gloria, which starts in Cuba, onto the streets in Miami before finding international stardom. Featuring all of their smash hits including Rhythm Is Gonna Get You, Conga, Get On Your Feet, Don’t Want To Lose You Now, Dr.Beat and 1-2-3.

The Christmas movie is a must-watch for all of the family each festive season, but now you can also see the live performance. Following two sensational seasons in London, Nativity! The Musical is coming to Cardiff. Feel-good, funny and full of joy, this cracker of a musical has been adapted for the stage by the creator of the much-loved film.
Watch teacher Mr Maddens and his crazy teaching assistant Mr Poppy get the children ready for this year’s nativity play, which they have promised a Hollywood producer is coming to see. Watch them struggle to make everyone’s Christmas wish come true. Get ready for some mayhem in Bethlehem.

Inspired by the Little Red Riding Hood, RED is a hilarious tale for all the family. The show is pure festive fun, perfect for a family-friendly day out this Christmas.
A group of unlikely heroes find themselves in an enchanted, wild adventure. In the wood trees whisper, strange creatures lurk, and wolves run wild. The misadventure is led by Grandma Red, an energetic old lady on a mission to bring back nearly lost stories.
