Now is the time to start making a list for friends and family.  You will also need to start dropping hints, so you do not end up with a last-minute pair of socks (unless that is what you want, of course).  Throughout the year, we sell gift vouchers on our website for treats that could include Overnight Stays, Dining Experiences in Chophouse Restaurant or monetary amounts.

Of course, you could also check into the hotel and stay for a night or two while you visit the popular Christmas Markets, shopping centres like Cabot Circus and traffic-free streets in the Bristol Shopping Quarter.

Christmas Party Nights

Most people say it does not feel like Christmas until the office party takes place.  Every Friday and Saturday in December the Christmas Party Nights start with a sparkling drinks reception before stepping into the festively decorated banquette room.  Pull a Christmas cracker and enjoy a 3-course meal before stepping onto the dancefloor with the resident party DJ.  You can expect great food, good times and some of the best views of Bristol City Centre.

Festive Lunch

The festive lunch is perfect for exchanging gifts with friends, celebrating with the family or a working lunch with your colleagues.  The table will be decorated with festive novelties while you enjoy a 2 or 3-course lunch, followed by tea or coffee in Chophouse Restaurant.  As always, the food is homemade on site using fresh and local ingredients.

Christmas Day Lunch

Spend Christmas Day with us!  If the thought of basting turkeys and boiling sprouts is not for you, then join us at one of our most popular events.  Our banquette room will be decorated for the season, and there will be festive novelties and a traditional cracker for everyone.  Arrive to a glass of bubbly, followed by a 4-course meal with all the trimmings, followed by tea or coffee and petit fours.  

As the main course is the star of the show, you can choose a traditional roast turkey wrapped in bacon with sage and onion stuffing, pigs in blankets with a rich red wine jus, or braised shoulder and rack of lamb, fondant potato and rosemary jus.  Other options include a salmon coulibiac, crushed new potatoes and a white wine sauce or a goat’s cheese, leek and walnut tart with charred chicory.

Make a Night of It

Why leave the party early, especially when it's in full swing and risk trains being cancelled or paying high taxi fares?  If you book to attend any of our events a discounted stay in one of our large spacious rooms, can be organised for you.
