To celebrate all that is brilliant about Plymouth, Britain’s Ocean City, we have teamed up with Visit Plymouth for their Summer in Plymouth Competition.  You could win an overnight stay with us with breakfast, dinner and a whole host of other prizes.

Win a Family Break at Future Inn Plymouth

As part of the competition, you can win an overnight stay for a family of four.  The twin bedrooms are unique and offer two double queen-sized beds.  Perks include free parking, free Wi-Fi, complimentary bathrobe and slippers, vegan-friendly toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water in your room.  Plus, home away from home services like a guest laundry room, wine glasses, ice-bucket and an ice machine, a fruit basket on each floor that you can help yourself to, as well as a small exercise room.

The hotel is an ideal base for the family.  Plymouth City Centre is a 15-minute drive from Future Inn Plymouth.  Alternatively, it would take around 30-minutes on public transport, with the nearest bus stop across the road from the hotel, or you can cycle taking around 25-minutes.  It is also easy to access the A38 and M5 for exploring the local area and Devon.

Feeding the Family in Fishbone Restaurant

Included in the competition is dining experiences in Fishbone Bar & Restaurant.  The family-friendly environment will fuel the day with a full English buffet breakfast. 

Hot breakfast items include sausages, bacon, hash brown, baked beans, eggs, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, black pudding and more.  Cold breakfast items include a continental meat selection, cereals, pastries and toast. Plus, coffee, tea and fruit juice.

A 3-course evening meal is also included.  The children’s menu includes burgers, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, roast chicken or an omelette with delicious desserts and bottomless squash too.  While adults can choose exciting dishes from the summer menu, which includes local Devonshire meat and fresh-fish from The Barbican.

The competition prize also includes lots of family activities.  The Barbican Theatre is providing a family voucher for an upcoming show.  Currently showing is The Three Musketeers, a brand new comedy adventure.  With just 4 actors, over 40 characters and 100 costume changes you can expect plenty of heroics, romance, tests of friendship and defeating the baddies.

Bella Italia has 2 locations in Plymouth, and they are offering a £100 gift card to be spent in those restaurants.  You can even try their new click and collect service, pick your favourites on the menu and take them away to enjoy in one of the Plymouth hotspots.

Lastly, the National Marine Aquarium, the largest in the UK, is giving a family guest-pass.   You can explore the worlds ocean, from the cold waters of the Plymouth Sound all the way to the Great Barrier Reef.  Plus hourly talks, shows and feeds, it is a fun day out for all the family.
