Future Inns Celebrates 10 Years in Bristol

Press Release. Commemorating ten years of welcoming tourists, travellers and business guests in Bristol. Future Inns, one of the market-leading hotels in Bristol, is thrilled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of opening in Cabot Circus

In the summer of 2009, Future Inn Bristol first opened its doors to the public. The hotel has 149, spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms offering all of the facilities and services you would expect of a quality 4-star hotel at affordable prices. Housed within the hotel is Chophouse Bar & Restaurant, which serves fresh food all day every day, and six conference and event suites for up to 280 guests.

I started here on day one as the Food and Beverage Manager, before being made General Manager in 2013. I have met and worked with some incredible people, who have gone on to achieve so much in their career, as well meeting guests from all over the world – all here to experience what Bristol has to offer.”

To mark the event, local businesses, suppliers, media partners and notable visitors have been invited to attend a reception on Friday 20th September 2019 at 2pm. Alongside the prosecco and canapes on arrival, guests will be able to see the recent renovations to the top floor event suites – where you can also see some of the best views of Bristol City Centre – and hear about the exciting plans for the next ten years.

Regular guests and email subscribers are also being offered discounted bedrooms, dinner and live music experiences at the weekly Thursday night Jazz at Future Inns, and family packages to mark the occasion. There will also be competitions and giveaways on the Future Inns social media channels.

“Alongside my brother, Bruce, we opened our first hotel in Canada in 1989, 30 years ago. It seems fitting that we are celebrating our youngest hotel in Bristol also. Opening hotels here in the UK, in Cardiff in 2005 followed by Plymouth in 2006, has been an interesting journey. Chophouse Bar & Restaurant is the home of steaks, chops and ribs, however, consideration has been taken to appeal to vegetarians, vegans and those with food allergies and intolerances. The team use fresh, local produce and make the dishes on-site from scratch wherever possible - including bread. A weekly live music event, Jazz at Future Inns, takes place on Thursday evenings from 8.30pm showcasing the best local and international talent.

The conference and event suites can be found on the top floor of the building and offer some of the best views of Bristol City Centre.
