Future Inn Cardiff extends partnership with the Welsh National Opera

Future Inns is proud to announce our continued partnership with the Welsh National Opera. As the official hotel partner to the WNO, whose performances and productions are held at the Wales Millennium Centre, there are special offers and an exclusive accommodation package.

One of the things we missed most during lockdown was theatre breaks. Our Cardiff hotel is in the ideal location for a theatre break and local events. Located less than 1.5 miles from the city centre, you can explore the famous landmarks before settling down to see the performance.

Future Inn Cardiff is proud to continue its sponsorship as the official hotel partner for the Welsh National Opera.

Celebrating 75 Years of the Welsh National Opera

To celebrate the 75th anniversary and the return to the stage, the Welsh National Opera, alongside corporate partners, has launched a raffle. The money can’t buy experiences can be entered by text message.

The prizes include dining experiences, and we are donating an opera break. Other exclusive rewards include watching a performance from backstage, a behind the scenes tour, meet and greets, plus a hair and make-up session.

To donate, text WNO75RAFFLE to 70970. Entries cost £5. The raffle will be drawn in early December 2021. All profits from the raffle will be reinvested to ensure the longevity of the WNO.

Upcoming Productions

What to head to the Cardiff theatre in 2021? Upcoming Welsh National Opera performances include Madam Butterfly, a beautiful bride who expects a dream-like wedding, but her world comes crashing down around her with devastating consequences. There’s also The Barber of Seville. The much-loved production is set around a traditional Spanish piazza and has wonderfully witty and expressive melodies.

Pre-theatre dining

Thomas Restaurant serves British food, as well as contemporary and traditional Welsh cuisine. The mouth-watering dishes are created using fresh local ingredients and produce. The restaurant is the perfect setting for a family celebration, a catch up with friends, a client meeting or an intimate dinner for two.

We know you want an enjoyable pre-theatre dinner without feeling rushed. The table d'hôte menu is a multi-course meal with a smaller selection of choices, without reducing the quality of food you receive. It means you can have a satisfying three-course meal before heading to see the show. Available seven days a week from 5pm for £20 per person.
