City Hotel of the Year at the Welsh Hospitality Awards

Future Inn Cardiff has been named as a finalist in the City Hotel of the Year category at the Welsh Hospitality Awards 2023. This nomination is a testament to our team's hard work and dedication.

With great pleasure, Future Inn Cardiff announces its nomination for City Hotel of the Year at the Welsh Hospitality Awards 2023. The entire staff were thrilled and excited to hear about this recognition. The hotel had been working hard to provide the best possible experience to their guests, and this nomination was a testament to their efforts.

From spacious rooms to dining experiences, every aspect of the hotel had been designed to provide a comfortable and memorable stay. The welcoming atmosphere you receive when staying at Future Inns and the additional perks and attention to detail have helped earn this recognition.

How did we get nominated for the award?

The award recognition does mean a lot to us as the nominations have come directly from our guests and members of the public. Nominations were open a few months ago on their website and social media. What makes it more remarkable is that a justification for why we should win was entered when the nominations were put in. Thank you so much to all who took the time to nominate Future Inn Cardiff.

Who are the Welsh Hospitality Awards?

The Welsh Hospitality Awards are run by Creative Oceanic, who also run other auspicious award ceremonies – over 90 a year. Other local celebrations include the Welsh Wedding Awards, The Welsh Independent Retail Awards, The Food Awards Wales, The Welsh Women's Award, The Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards, The Welsh SME Business Awards and The Welsh Café Awards.

The event aims to showcase key professionals and businesses that enhance the country's reputation nationally and internationally. The awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of inspiring professionals who work hard to develop the cultural, social and economic life of the country.

A Spokesperson for The Welsh Hospitality Awards 2023 said: "Working for the hospitality industry can be challenging at times. These awards aim to recognise those who have succeeded in this sector despite the difficulties. Some people have dedicated their whole career to making the country a special destination for visitors. It is time to give these professionals they deserve."

"The awards will provide a platform to thank and honour those who have contributed to making Wales a friendly and welcoming place, enhancing the country's reputation nationally and internationally. We congratulate all the finalists for their nominations and wish them luck."

When do we find out if we have won?

A panel of independent people will verify the votes, and where appropriate, supporting evidence will be examined to understand the business. The winners they pick will be announced at the glamorous award ceremony on the 2 October 2023.

Fingers crossed that Future Inn Cardiff is selected as City Hotel of the Year.
