A little bit about Jazz at Future Inns

Thursday nights are dedicated to Jazz at Future Inn Bristol, with live music gigs from local and internationally known jazz artists, duos, ensembles and groups. Found underneath Chophouse Bar & Restaurant, the purpose-built performance space has sophisticated lighting and cosy booth seating. What happened at the event?

After a short summer holiday, Jazz at Future Inns kicked off with Becki Biggins, a Grammy-nominated and award-winning jazz singer, songwriter and saxophonist. Becki has always been a crowd-pleaser when she has performed at the jazz club, so we invited some Bristol Bloggers to attend and experience a different kind of live music event.

Dinner and jazz

To get in the mood for a night of entertainment, fuelling up in Chophouse Bar & Restaurant is a good start. Serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and evening a-la-carte menus, there is a lot to choose from. The restaurant is known for its steaks, chops and ribs, but a lot of consideration has been taken for those who eat chicken, fish or require a vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free menu.  

Also, popular is the 3 courses for £20 set menu, which the Bristol Bloggers got to sample. It is also known as a table d'hôte menu where you can pick a starter, main and dessert. It is served Monday – Sunday, between 6pm-9.30pm – which is ideal for indulging in before heading downstairs to see the live jazz.
