Quintessentially British, a traditional afternoon tea Cardiff is perfect for celebrating a soon to be mum. Our baby shower afternoon tea Cardiff package includes a selection of finger sandwiches, handmade scones with clotted cream and jam, Bara brith, Welsh cakes and other homemade cakes, teas and coffee, plus private dining room hire.
You could add on baby shower decorations such as chair covers and bows. As well as Prosecco, cocktail jugs, mocktails, canapes and savoury treats.

A bottomless brunch isn’t the first thought for welcoming newborns. Bottomless afternoons out are now very popular, but ours is a little different. Our bottomless offer is served in Thomas Restaurant. It includes a Taste of Wales afternoon tea plus 2 hours of free-flowing Prosecco. Of course, the alcohol can be swapped for orange juice, but the celebration could take place after the baby has arrived.
During December, you can even go bottomless whilst eating our festive menu. The three-course dinner has everything you expect from a Christmas spread, including stuffing, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes and brussel sprouts.

What better way is there to spend Sunday than with a long, lazy lunch? Join us for a great seasonal roast at our baby shower venues Cardiff. The Sunday roast has a selection of meats, vegetarian and vegan options, as well as gluten-free. There are also golden crispy roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, a giant homemade Yorkshire pudding and lashings of real gravy. Plus, a selection of starters and a dessert platter.

Not sure whether the baby will be pink or blue? One of the latest trends is telling friends and families the gender of the new baby at a party. With venue hire, bar facilities, and a menu of options, our party packages can be tailored to your requirements up to 200 guests. You’re more than welcome to bring your own decorations, hire one of our preferred suppliers or even let us take care of it. Add on’s also include our resident party DJ.

With the foreseeable future predicted to be filled with nappy changes, feeding and being sleep deprived, a dining experience could be something to look forward to. Thomas Restaurant serves British food and contemporary Welsh cuisine. The Cocktail Dining Experience menu allows you to choose from a range of starters, mains and desserts. Plus, three cocktails of your choice from the menu. These can be swapped for mocktails or buy a gift voucher for the mum-to-be to enjoy after the arrival.

Thomas Restaurant and Future Inn Cardiff Bay are opposite the Red Dragon Centre, a short walk from Mermaid Quay. The hotel is on Hemmingway Road, with the Sat Nav postcode being CF10 4AU.
Less than a mile from Cardiff City Centre, it is straightforward to get to us. Those dining in Thomas Restaurant or attending an event get free parking. We even have electric car charging points. Just remember to register your car on one of the consoles in reception or the restaurant to avoid being sent a parking penalty notice. Various buses stop across the road at County Hall, and it is a 5-minute walk from Cardiff Bay train station.
