With plenty to choose from on an afternoon tea, this quintessentially English dish has something for everyone. In Fishbone Bar & Restaurant, the traditional afternoon tea menu comes with delicious finger sandwiches, mouth-watering homemade cakes and handmade scones with lashings of cream and fruit jam. The afternoon tea is served with unlimited servings of tea or coffee. You can also add on a glass of bubbles, prosecco, champagne or even a cocktail. As it is all made on-site, a vegetarian, vegan and even a dairy-free or gluten-free selection can be prepared.
£12 per person, £6 for under 12’s and under 5’s are complimentary
If afternoon tea is not your thing, delicious dining continues in the other menus served in Fishbone Bar & Restaurant. From brunch to lunch, evening a-la-carte and traditional roasts on Sundays.
A table d’hote set menu is served Monday – Sunday, between 5pm-10pm. You can choose a starter, main and a dessert for £20 per person. The menu changes regularly, but previous dishes have included butternut squash and chilli soup with a parmesan crostini or ham hock terrine with red onion marmalade and toasted Focaccia. Mains have included roast fillet of Seabass on asparagus, gratin dauphinoise with ciboulette sauce or chicken supreme with sage and onion stuffing, sautéed potatoes, honey roasted vegetables and a rosemary gravy. Finishing with dessert, these have included homemade sticky toffee pudding, and vanilla ice-cream or a strawberry cheesecake served with raspberry coulis and chocolate.

See in the New Year in style, with the 20’s theme New Year’s Eve party taking place on Tuesday 31st December 2019 from 7pm. At the adult-only event, you can dine on a hot and cold buffet before partying the night away with the resident DJ. Let your hair down and celebrate at the stroke of midnight, and let the chimes of Big Ben ring in the roaring 2020s. Themed dress is encouraged but not essential.
Special bed and breakfast rates at the hotel are also available to those who have purchased tickets. Have a lie-in, in one of the spacious bedrooms and large Canadian beds. You can even rest those tired feet, after all of the dancing, in the complimentary slippers and bathrobe.
