5 Must-Try Dishes from Plymouth's New Summer Menu

Are you looking for a new culinary adventure this summer? Look no further than Fishbone Restaurant in Plymouth's new menu. It will tantalise your tastebuds with a wide range of delectable dishes.

Plymouth's new summer menu is a true feast for the senses, featuring locally-sourced ingredients and exotic flavours. Whether you're in the mood for something savoury or sweet, there's something for everyone on this menu.

We recommend trying out these five must-try dishes if you need help figuring out where to start. Each is bursting with flavour and will leave you feeling satisfied and content.

The 5 Must-Try Dishes

1. Starters: Cantonese Pasta Bowl with Crisp Flatbread Croutons (vg)

The most intriguing starter on the menu is the pasta bowl. Conchiglie pasta comes with finely diced onion and julienne peppers adding a nice crunch to each bite. The hoisin sauce perfectly accompanies the dish, adding a sweet and tangy flavour. The real star of the dish is the crisp flatbread croutons adding a pop of flavour and texture and taking it to the next level.

2. Main: Broad Bean, Sun-Blushed Tomato, and Olive Risotto served with Garlic Bread and Salad (v)

The vibrant colours of the dish are a feast for the eyes; you won’t want to wait to dig in. From the first bite, the creamy risotto is a burst of flavour, complimented by the tangy sun-blushed tomatoes and salty olives. The broad beans add a nice crunch to the dish, making it a perfect balance of textures. The garlic bread is equally delicious and is served alongside a fresh salad.

3. Harbourside: Grilled Breakwater Sardines served with a tossed Salad and buttered New Potatoes (gf)

Historically known as Cornish pilchards, Sardines are a meaty, dense fish with an oily texture. The grilled sardines are arranged in a neat row alongside the tossed salad with the buttered new potatoes on the side, steaming hot. The smoky flavour of the fish is perfectly paired with the light salad. Could a meal of sardines be a perfect end to the day by the sea?

4. Grills: 8oz Beef Burger topped with Pulled Pork, Melted Cheese and BBQ sauce in a Brioche Bun with Salad, topped with Onion Rings, Chips and Coleslaw

A burger is the ultimate comfort food. The towering burger has a juicy beef patty, cooked to perfection and topped with a tender and flavourful pulled pork in a BBQ sauce. This is topped with melted cheese, oozing over the sides, crispy salad and coleslaw for a refreshing touch. Of course, chips and onion rings are the perfect accompaniments to any burger. If preferred, chicken, halloumi and garden burgers are also on the menu.

5. Desserts: Biscoff Crème Brûlée (v)

Want the combination of two of your favourite treats? A Biscoff biscuit meets a crème brûlée to create a unique dessert. The creamy custard has crunchy burnt sugar on the top for the classic flavour we all know and love. But hidden within is a whole Biscoff biscuit for extra crunch, spice and deep caramel flavour. This will be the most popular (and indulgent) dessert on the menu!
