The Cardiff Triathlon is a fantastic experience in every single way.  The events start with a swim in the beautiful Cardiff Bay (which is right on our Cardiff hotel's door step), it then moves on to a completely closed road cycle and run through the Cardiff streets. 

Depending on your level, there are three distances that you can choose to take part in, Sprint, Super Sprint & Olympic.  The sprint distance features a 750-metre swim, a 20km cycle and a 5km run, while the popular with beginners Super Sprint consists of a 400-metre swim, 10km cycle and a 2.5km run. The Olympic distance triathlon includes a unique 1,500 metre swim, 40km cycle and a 15km run.

We are confident that the event will be as successful as last year when over 1,000 people took part in the Cardiff Triathlon and 99.5% of entrants said that they would recommend it to others. The event will also be covered by worldwide television - this sets it in the same league as other global city triathlons.
