The first question you hear once you have placed an order is “how would you like your steak cooked?” People who eat steak can be very passionate about how they like but remember, a perfectly cooked steak is how YOU like it.

Blue: Should still be a dark colour, almost purple, and just warm
Rare: Dark red in colour with some juice flowing
Medium-rare: A more pink colour with a little pink juice flowing
Medium: Pale pink in the middle with hardly any juice flowing
Well-done: Only a trace of pink colour but not dry
