To celebrate this momentous year in history, Thomas Restaurant at Future Inn Cardiff Bay has curated an afternoon tea menu to commemorate the British pastime. With fabulous cakes and sandwiches worthy of the occasion, this afternoon tea is one of the tastiest ways to mark the Platinum Jubilee Bank holiday. As well as honouring our Monarch. This particular afternoon tea in Cardiff is a most regal affair.

In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, seventy years of service. Having acceded to the throne on 6 February 1952, when Elizabeth was just 25 years old. From Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June, an extended bank holiday weekend will provide ample time for us to rejoice in this historic milestone.

You don’t need to head to Buckingham Palace for the event. Celebrate with a special afternoon tea menu in Cardiff Bay.

Served daily from 1pm - 5pm. Pre-booking is essential, and table sizes and parties will be under the current COVID-19 conditions. Bottomless prosecco for up to 2 hours from the time of table reservation. We reserve the right to refuse service if any guests appear too drunk or abuse the system. One drink will be served at a time.

Gift vouchers are only valid until (and including) the expiry date displayed on the front of the voucher. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and change cannot be given. Gift vouchers should be treated like cash and are non-refundable, non-extendable and cannot be exchanged for an alternative or different experience. They cannot be replaced if lost, misplaced or stolen. Redemption is subject to availability and may not be possible on city event dates.
