A challenging, yet scenic 13.1 mile course taking in Plymouth's famous landmarks
Taking place on Sunday 19th May 2019, England’s south coast plays host to one of the most celebrated running events in the entire UK. The Plymouth Half Marathon takes runners along a path that features great coastal views, the National Trust grounds of Saltram Park, and the Plymouth Hoe.
One of the best aspects of the Plymouth Half Marathon is the great views. The course takes you along a course that provides incredible views for people who love nature. The coastal views are a major draw, and there are no cars present during the race. This allows you to take in your surroundings without worry. Most runners love the challenge of the race. Rolling hills along the countryside require a certain degree of fitness level in order to complete the race. However, it is perfect for runners of various skill levels. Each runner who participates is made to feel as though they achieved a great accomplishment as well.
Plymouth Hoe Promenade, the start and finish point, is a 21-minute drive from Future Inn Plymouth. Alternatively, it would take around 33-minutes on public transport or 27-minutes by bike. It would take approximately 1 hour and 23 minutes to walk from the hotel.
