On 6th October 2019 you can run 10K taking in Plymouth's famous landmarks
Plymouth 10k holds an undulating course, suitable for runners of all abilities. Starting in the City Centre, you’ll head out towards Marsh Mills along the embankment and back whilst taking advantage of closed roads and great scenery.
The course begins on Princess Street in the city centre. There, runners will then head up Princess Way, towards Derry’s Cross and then down Royal Parade towards St Andrews Cross Roundabout and Exeter Street. Then comes the long stretch on Embankment Road, before runners will come back on themselves just after the road merges with Old Laira Road. This is the 5km point, where there will be a drinks station. The competitors will then follow the exact same route on the way back, going back down Embankment Road and towards the city centre, eventually reaching the finish line on Princess Street.
Princess Street is a 17-minute drive from Future Inn Plymouth. Alternatively, it would take around 27-minutes on public transport or 24-minutes by bike. It would take approximately 1 hour and 16 minutes to walk from the hotel.
Future Inn Plymouth is an ideal base for the night offering various sized rooms including ones that can sleep up to four adults or a family.
