Enjoy a  3-course traditional homemade Sunday lunch. You can expect golden crispy roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, a homemade Yorkshire pudding and lashings of real gravy.

Starters

  • Homemade soup of the day with a crusty bread roll (vg) 
  • Red wine poached pear with blue cheese, candied walnuts and port syrup (vg)
  • Smoked salmon and king prawn terrine with melba toast with lemon dill mayonnaise 

Mains

  • Roast topside of beef, crispy pork loin or roasted turkey breast served with a medley of vegetables, crisp roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and rich gravy
  • Mediterranean vegetable wellington served with roast potatoes, vegetables, and a tomato and garlic sauce (vg)
  • Whole grilled lemon sole with lemon butter, new potatoes and salad
  • Chicken Caesar salad
  • Classic beef, bacon and cheese burger served with chips and coleslaw
  • Buttered chicken burger served with chips and coleslaw

Desserts

  • Berry panna cotta (v)
  • Lemon meringue with a drizzle of strawberry coulis (v)
  • Selection of ice cream topped with a berry compote (v)

The open-plan restaurant is on the ground floor, so no ramps or alternative routes are needed. There is booth seating and tables where a chair can be easily removed for a wheelchair. Free parking and blue badge parking can be found directly in front of the restaurant. Admittedly there is no accessible toilet in the restaurant; however, there is one in the conference corridor next to the other bathrooms. This is a short distance away. All guests at Future Inn Plymouth get free parking. When you arrive, please ensure you enter your car registration details on one of the consoles in the Fishbone Restaurant or hotel reception. This is to avoid being sent a parking penalty notice.

Easter at the National Marine Park

Plymouth is known as Britain's Ocean City, so it is unsurprising that the largest aquarium in the UK is here. The impressive building and underwater world is found in Sutton Harbour of The Barbican, with fantastic views of Plymouth Sound. Egg Hunt Plymouth

Saturday 11 April 2026 | 11am - 4pm

Mount Edgcumbe Country Park is the perfect place to explore this Easter. There's a house and extensive gardens to explore. From Plymouth, the easiest way to get there is via the ferry from Admiral's Head or the Barbican

The annual Easter Egg hunt will be on Saturday 11 April, no pre-booking is required. £3 for per child, who will need to follow the trail and find clues around the park. An Easter egg is included.

The National Trust is a sure bet for Easter egg hunts in Devon, and this year has a nature-inspired activity trail. The trail sheet will take you around the garden to find and complete 10 activities. Normal admission plus £3 per child and includes a trail map, pencil and Easter eggs at the end.
