Dartmoor Zoological Park
Set within 30 acres of beautiful parkland, Dartmoor Zoological Park is the perfect adventure for young children. You will come face to face with Josie the Lion and Ben the Brown Bear, or if you prefer things that come in smaller packages, you could check out the tiny Stick Insects! So why not visit the park and learn more about our interesting planet and how to look after it?

Plymouth Pavilion’s Ice Rink

Curious About Plymouth
This trail is a fantastic activity for the whole family. You will be walking around Plymouth, visiting many of the historical sights on the way! National Marine Aquarium

Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery 
You will not be short of things to do in the Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery. There’s plenty to see and do no matter your interests. Prepare to discover the impressive artwork and delve into human history. This experience will leave both you and your kids inspired.

West Hoe Park
Let the kids run wild in West Hoe Park! The park not only hosts a large children’s play area, but it also has a miniature railway and putting green, crazy golf, trampolines, a merry-go-round and a bouncy castle.

Mount Edgcumbe
Let your kids explore nature in the woodland, beach, park and pond at Mount Edgcumbe. There is also an historic house and gardens to discover, as well as, boat trips and an interactive sawmill.

Mount Wise Swimming Pool
You can enjoy free use of the Mount Wise Swimming Pool! It has a cool 25 foot main pool, plus a small paddling pool ideal for smaller children and a separate pool for lots of fun/splashing which hosts fountains, stepping stones, a whirl pool and a bubble pool.

Crownhill Fort
If you fancy an educational day out why not visit Crownhill Fort? It is the best preserved of Lord Palmerston’s Ring of Fire which surrounded Plymouth during Victorian times, acting as a protective barrier for the Royal Dockyard at Devonport from fierce French attack!
