Now Spring is in full swing it is the perfect time to plan a fun filled Easter family holiday or a bank holiday break. This month there is a lot happening in the Welsh Capital & we have compiled a short list of some of our recommendations. 

RHS Flower Show Cardiff

Take the time to stop & smell the roses in Cardiff this April. The RHS Flower Show Cardiff will bring the city centre to life this Spring, so why not visit & see the beautiful floral displays, features and mesmerising Show Gardens? You could even come away with some inspiration to transform your own garden.

Judgement Day V

Outside of Principality Stadium.

Judgement Day returns on Saturday 15th April – when the four Welsh regions meet at Principality Stadium in back-to-back Guinness Pro12 fixtures.

Cardiff Blues take on the Ospreys in the first clash of the day, kicking off at 2.45pm, swiftly followed by Newport Gwent Dragons versus Scarlets at 5.15pm.

Last season’s incarnation of the regional double header broke the all-time attendance record for a match involving any of the four elite Welsh sides.

Easter Trail

This April Cardiff Castle will be hosting the perfect family, Easter themed activity.  The Easter Trail is a quest to find the answers to the puzzles in both the house and the Castle grounds. Those that are successful shall win an Easter prize. 

When?
8th - 23rd April 2017

Price
Normal admission or a valid Castle Key/ Season Ticket plus £1 per trail including a prize. 

 

NT Connections

One for you theatre lovers, NT Connections is a celebration of young people, theatre-making and the importance of access to the arts. The National Theatre have commissioned ten new plays for young people to perform in. The event, hosted at the Sherman Theatre, combines some of the most exciting writers with the actors of tomorrow.
