On Sunday the 3^rd July, we had the pleasure of hosting Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity Family and Nurse Event to celebrate Roald Dahl's 100th birthday, as well as, the work of their Roald Dahl specialist children's nurses. The event was a family fun day with lots of entertaining and enchanting activities ranging from drama games to the use of the magical bike to generate dreams that were stored in the BFG’s Dream Jar. Many of the children and families that received care from the marvellous nurses attended the event which was a fantastic opportunity for them to meet and have plenty of fun.   

We are truly thrilled to be able to work alongside such a fantastic charity. Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity helps to make life better for seriously ill children in the UK. They believe every child has the right to a more marvellous life, no matter how ill they are, or how short their life may be. Many of us at Future Inns Cardiff grew up with the magical Roald Dahl stories, and so when given the opportunity to help organise this event we were very excited to get involved. Not only are we proud to be supporting the charity with their fundraising, we are also honoured to be sharing with the children the same stories that captured our own imaginations.
