1) Rhossili Bay
Recently voted one of the top 10 beaches in the World, Rhossili Bay is truly the one to beat. It has breath-taking views, great surf, beautiful soft sand and a fascinating shipwreck. With the summer upon us,  Rhossili is the perfect beach to visit in the sun as it is big enough to host large crowds of fellow sun worshippers. The beach is approximatley a 1.5 hours drive from Future Inn Cardiff.

2) Three Cliffs Bay
Also, located in the Gower, the Three Cliffs Bay is a lovely beach that requires a small hike to get to, but we promise that the view are worth it. The three cliffs that give this beach it's name,  make it unique and adds that special something.

3) Southerndown Beach
Southerndown beach is situated in Dunraven Bay, in the Bridgend. You may recognise if from BBC productions as it's often used for filiming TV shows such as Doctor Who. If you're a bit of an adrenaline junkey you may even want to try some rock climing.

4) Barry Island
Barry Island if famous for beaing featured on the Gavin & Stacey TV series. If we had to summarise Barry Island in 3 words, it would probably be sand, sea and fun(fair). The beach is great for Swimmin and sunbathing and there are alos plenty of amusements, including horse and carriage rides and the famous Pleasure Park, which is located just behind the beach.

5) Cardiff Bay Beach
Finally, on our door step this Summer is the Cardiff Bay temporary beach (open until 3rd September 2017). It is in the Roald Dahl Plass & welcomes visitors to get involved in the beach activities. It is the perfect day out for the whole family.
