They say a picture is worth a thousand words and this guide will help you gain an insight into each of our cities and provide you with inspiration on what to do and where to visit.

Cardiff, Wales’ Capital city, boasts an amazing range of exclusive attractions, fantastic entertainment and quality shopping centres – all within walking distance.

Local Photographer, Chris Norton: “Cardiff is a superb city with such diverse surroundings. You can soak up the atmosphere in the shopping centres/modern waterfront at Cardiff Bay or visit the grand City Hall buildings/Museum. In addition, you can also discover the history of the city at the Victorian Penarth Pier and The Welsh Folk museum at St Fagans…Cardiff really does have it all to offer.
There is also a fantastic castle in the heart of the city, as well as, Castle Coch and Caerphilly castle which are on the outskirts of Cardiff. If you’re interested in wildlife, you don’t even have to leave the city, there is Cardiff bay wetlands, the Forest farm nature reserve and Roath Park.”

Bristol is well worth a visit.  It’s a diverse and energetic city, with plenty to see and do. Did you know that it gave us both Banksy and Wallace & Gromit?

Plymouth is a lively waterfront city jam packed with attractions. No matter the weather there is something to suit everyone’s tastes amongst the city streets, beautiful countryside or seaside.

Photographer Paul Andrews loves Plymouth because of its location – “For me it is a gateway to all that is best in the South West. Firmly in Devon but on the Cornish Border. Benefiting from spectacular South Devon Beaches such as Bigbury and Bantham which are only half an hour away. Then there are the famous Cornish Surf beaches only an hour away. Dartmoor is perfect for all outdoor activities, cycling on and off road, Climbing, Walking, Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, or just a Leisure Drive to take in the scenery. We have some of the best food and drink in the country, and throw in all the History that comes with one of the largest Naval ports in the world and it’s a pretty good place to live. I would never leave”
