Wales will face Ireland at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday 31st August
The first match of a double-header between the two Celtic rivals. The match has been scheduled to act as a warm-up for Rugby World Cup 2019 and forms part of the Under Amour Summer Series.
Wales sealed a Grand Slam by beating Ireland 25-7 in Cardiff during this year's Six Nations. Wales and Ireland have contested a total of 127 rugby test matches since their first meeting in 1882. Wales have won 69 of those matches, whilst Ireland have won 51 matches. There have also been seven drawn matches between the two teams.
The Principality Stadium is a 6-minute taxi ride into the City Centre from Future Inn Cardiff. Cardiff Bay train station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel and takes you to Cardiff Queen Street station, followed by a 15-minute walk to the Principality Stadium. Alternatively, you could change lines for Cardiff Central followed by a 5-minute walk. It would take approximately 30 minutes to walk from the hotel.
