The Principality Stadium in Cardiff has been a premier venue for numerous high-profile events, including concerts and sports matches.

In summer 2026, Take That are reviving one of their most iconic shows, The Circus Live, for a full stadium tour across the UK & Ireland - and Cardiff is very much on the map.

Why This Tour Is Special

  • The Circus album was originally released in December 2008. The Circus Live Tour in 2009 broke records and became one of the fastest-selling stadium tours in UK history.

  • The new version promises to be “even bigger, braver and bolder than before,” bringing back many of the original elements fans loved and adding surprises.

  • For long-time fans, this is a chance to relive the magic. For newer fans, it’s a way to experience Take That at their theatrical, stadium-scale best.

Take That in Cardiff

Take That have played Cardiff many times.

  • 1994: Take That played at the Cardiff International Arena during their "Pops Tour".
  • 2006: The band performed in Cardiff at the Millennium Stadium during their "Ultimate Tour"
  • 2009: They returned to the Millennium Stadium for the "Take That Presents: The Circus Live" tour, which broke box office records.
  • 2011: Take That played two nights at the Millennium Stadium as part of their "Progress Live" tour with Robbie Williams.
  • 2019: The band brought their "Odyssey: Greatest Hits Live" tour to the Principality Stadium, with the final night of the tour being filmed in Cardiff

What Fans Might Expect in the Set List

While no official full set list has been published yet (at the time of writing), there are strong indications of what will be included based on the original Circus Live show, plus hits from across their career. Of course, the classics every audience expects are Back for Good, Never Forget, Rule the World, Patience, Greatest Day and Shine.

If you’re heading to Cardiff for the show, you can expect a big stadium atmosphere and a spectacle with heartfelt moments.

Take That Cardiff 2026 Support

The 2026 tour will feature The Script - returning as support, and familiar to fans from the original Circus Live tour in 2009. Known for hits like The Man Who Can’t Be Moved and Hall of Fame, they’re guaranteed to get the Cardiff crowd singing along before the main event.

Plus, Belinda Carlisle. The American singer is best known as the lead vocalist of the all-female band The Go-Go’s in the early 1980s, one of the most successful female rock bands of all time. She later launched a hugely successful solo career, with her biggest song, Heaven Is a Place on Earth. Other well-loved singles include Circle in the Sand, Leave a Light On, and I Get Weak.
