In 2020, the biggest action sports event to ever come to the UK will draw more than 100 of the world’s best action sports athletes to Cardiff.

See a game-changing action sports competition, featuring the world’s best athletes in FMX, BMX, Skate, and Scooter. Designed to push progression, this two-day event will feature attempts at the biggest tricks in freestyle, meaning fans who see it live will have a chance to witness athletes attempting tricks that have never been landed in competition. In addition to the elite-level events, fans will enjoy accompanying family-friendly activities that will ensure it’s an action-packed weekend for everyone. To enjoy the full spectrum, come for the semifinals on Saturday and stay for the finals on Sunday.

Getting to The Principality Stadium from Future Inn Cardiff

By Car

The Principality Stadium is a 6-minute taxi ride from Future Inn Cardiff. Parking is available in the city centre as pay and display or by the hour multi-story car parks.  

By Bus

The number 6 Bay Car bus goes from in front of County Hall a 3-minute walk from the hotel and takes you directly to Cardiff Central Bus Station, it is a further 4-minute walk to the Principality Stadium.

By Train

Cardiff Bay train station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel and takes you to Cardiff Queen Street station, followed by a 15-minute walk to the Principality Stadium. Alternatively, you could change lines for Cardiff Central followed by a 5-minute walk.

By Bike

Nextbike operates in Cardiff, and a station is at the end of Hemmingway Road, near Cardiff Bay train station, a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It would then take approximately 14-minutes to cycle to the Nextbike station on St Mary's Street.  It would be a 4-minute walk to the Principality Stadium. There are limited bike racks at Cardiff City if you wish to use your own. Future Inn Cardiff is a cycle-friendly hotel, and we allow guests to keep bikes in your room with cycle mats supplied. 

On Foot

It would take around 30-minutes to walk from the hotel.

Burgers, sandwiches and other lite bites are available on our lunch menu, or a homemade Sunday Roast is served every Sunday between 12pm-5pm. A homemade Taste of Wales Afternoon Tea is served daily between 1pm-5pm or our set menu offers 3 courses for £20 daily between 5pm-10pm. A large selection of alcoholic and soft drinks is also available including Welsh beer, cider and spirits, wine by the glass or the bottle, plus all cocktails are £7 each.
