It is incredibly easy to get to The Principality Stadium from Future Inns:

  • It is a 6-minute taxi ride from Future Inn Cardiff to the city centre.
  • Cardiff Bay train station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel and takes you to Cardiff Queen Street station, followed by a 10-minute walk to the Principality Stadium on Westgate Street.
  • Alternatively, you could change lines for Cardiff Central, followed by a 5-minute walk.
  • Several buses go into the city centre from County Hall, across the road from the hotel, or from the Wales Millennium Centre.
  • The Aquabus (water taxi) runs hourly from Cardiff Bay between 1030 and 1630 and stops in Bute Park, across the road from the stadium. Weather permitting. The journey takes about 25 minutes.
  • It would take approximately 30 minutes to walk.

Thomas Restaurant is ideal for fueling up before the event. It serves British food as well as contemporary and traditional Welsh cuisine. The team serves breakfast, lunch, evening a-la-carte, and traditional roasts on Sunday. A homemade Taste of Wales Afternoon Tea is served daily between 1pm and 5pm, or our set menu offers 3 courses for £25 from 5pm.
