The 17th edition of the Homeless World Cup will take place in Cardiff’s iconic Bute Park, right at the heart of the Welsh capital, from 27th July – 3rd August 2019. More than 500 players representing over 50 countries will travel to Cardiff to attend the week-long festival of football, in what is to become one of the most inspiring Homeless World Cup tournaments yet.
This year’s Homeless World Cup in Cardiff will welcome 64 teams from around the world. The Men’s/Mixed competition will welcome 48 teams competing for six separate trophies, while the Women’s competition will see 16 teams playing for two trophies. More than 500 players are expected to travel to the Welsh capital.
Cardiff City Hall is a 12-minute taxi ride from Future Inn Cardiff. Cardiff Bay train station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel and takes you to Cardiff Queen Street station, followed by a 17-minute walk to Bute Park. Alternatively, you could catch the number 6 bus from County Hall, a short walk from the hotel, with the whole journey taking around 33-minutes. It would take approximately 14-minutes to cycle or 41 minutes to walk from the hotel.
