The annual Christmas market offers an alternative shopping experience buying original work directly from the makers themselves
The Cardiff Christmas Market will return to the pedestrian streets of Cardiff City Centre in St John Street, Working Street, Hills Street, Trinity Street and the Hayes on Thursday 14 November until Monday 23 December 2019 with yet another exciting and eclectic mix of both new and returning exhibitors as their original, hand made products are the essence of what makes our market so different and special every year.
This well established Christmas Market sited in the heart of Cardiff City Centre has been organised and successfully in excess of 20 years. It is a unique visitor attraction and offers an alternative shopping experience as you are buying original work directly from the makers themselves. Each year they have an extensive rolling programme of over 200 individual businesses selling a wide variety of diverse arts and crafts interspersed with seasonal food and drink.

See Cardiff's historic market set for Christmas. Find a whole range of Christmas things, and support local businesses. All of your favourite market stalls will be open across the two floors, plus a retro 80s disco from the legendary 80s nite DJ from Cardiff University Students' Union (97-04)

Cardiff City Centre is an 8-minute taxi ride from Future Inn Cardiff. Cardiff Bay train station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel and takes you to Cardiff Queen Street station which is also a 6-minute walk to The Hayes. Thomas Restaurant is ideal to fuel up before the event. Every day the team serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, evening a-la-carte or traditional roasts on Sunday. A homemade Taste of Wales Afternoon Tea is served daily between 1pm-5pm or our set menu offers 3 courses for £20 daily between 5pm-10pm. Of course, during December a Festive lunch or dinner is also on offer.
A large selection of drinks is also available including cocktails all of which are £7. Under 5's always eat for free with a paying adult, but during the school holidays, the offer is extended to under 12's.
