Catfish and the Bottlemen Cardiff 2025

Catfish and the Bottlemen, known for their energetic indie rock and dynamic live performances, have cemented themselves as one of the UK’s standout bands of the 21st century. Fronted by Van McCann, the group rose to fame with their 2014 debut album, The Balcony, which earned them a BRIT Award for British Breakthrough Act.

Their follow-up albums, including the chart-topping The Ride, solidified their reputation with hits like Kathleen and 7, amassing over a billion streams worldwide. Renowned for their relentless touring schedule, they've played to millions globally, headlining festivals like Reading and Leeds.

In 2025, the band will perform their first-ever stadium shows, with a monumental gig at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on 1 August. This landmark performance follows their two sold-out shows at Cardiff Castle in 2024. The Cardiff date marks a new era for the band as they celebrate their ten-year anniversary with a reissue of The Balcony and fresh material like their single Showtime.
