This includes the ceremony room hire, food, and drinks. Wedding Packages Under £2000 Cardiff

We have three fantastic wedding packages for you to choose from, each designed to suit different styles and budgets.

Option One - Twilight Wedding Package

Arrive for a romantic late afternoon ceremony at (suggested time of 4pm or 5pm), then celebrate with your loved ones over a delicious three-course wedding breakfast, complete with tea, coffee, traditional Welsh cakes and a sparkling toast to mark the occasion. Perfect for an intimate yet unforgettable celebration, this package is designed for 50 guests and offers incredible value without compromising on the magic.

Option Two - Boogie & Buffet

Known as our Boogie & Buffet package, this evening-only celebration is all about fun, food and dancing! Enjoy a freshly prepared finger buffet followed by a lively disco to keep your guests on the dancefloor all night. It’s a perfect choice if you’ve tied the knot abroad and want to celebrate with friends and family back home, or if you simply prefer a relaxed, party-style wedding without all the formality.

It's the perfect way to toast your big day without the stress – just great food, drinks and plenty of time to celebrate together.

The Glamorgan Dining Package

The following menu is part of the wedding package. You can upgrade the menu, add on canapes and bottles of wine, if you wish. 

We know that catering at your wedding is important. Our talented chefs make most of our food on-site using some of the finest local produce and ingredients. The team also have experience with halal and other religious requirements. 

Children are more than welcome to join your celebration, and we have lots of options for younger guests. In fact, under 5s are complimentary.

Alongside its excellent location, the hotel boasts spacious and airy bedrooms - all of which sleep up to four guests - that feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, a desk and workspace, and a laptop safe. Added comforts such as complimentary robes, tea and coffee-making facilities, and filtered water enhance the overall experience. Want to know more about weddings at Future Inns? Our modern yet elegant function suites offer a stylish setting to take your vows, enjoy a wedding breakfast or celebrate into the early hours. With eight different event suites, there's plenty of choice whether you're looking to invite immediate family and friends or a few more.

Our wedding celebration packages have a Welsh theme and offer luxury and flexibility to suit a range of budgets. We make it clear what costs are included and are priced per person, with a range of affordable wedding packages at your disposal, including everything from welcome drinks to evening food and hotel stays. 

If our packages don't seem quite right for you, we will happily create a bespoke package to make your wedding both individual and unforgettable. 

Just over a mile from Cardiff City Centre and within walking distance of plentiful nearby attractions and local events, Future Inn Cardiff boasts easy access to the A4232 and M4 in South Wales. The wedding venue is just a 5-minute walk from Cardiff Bay Train Station, and buses stop on the opposite side of the road at Cardiff County Hall. Making our venues suitably accessible for guests travelling to attend your big day. 

All guests at Future Inns and Thomas Restaurant get free parking. We ask that car registration details are input on one of the consoles in the restaurant or hotel reception upon arrival. This is to avoid being sent a parking penalty notice. Have an electric car? Take advantage of our electric car charging.

The open-plan wedding suites are found on the ground floor, so no ramps or alternative routes are needed. Free parking and blue badge parking can be found directly in front of the entrance to the hotel and restaurant. There is a disabled toilet in the events corridor next to the other bathrooms. Standard booking terms and conditions apply. All wedding dates are subject to availability. A deposit and a signed contract are required at the time of booking to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance can be paid in instalments and is required to be paid in full four weeks before the event. All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-amendable.

Yes, you can! Each package includes a set number of guests, and additional guests can be added at a per-person cost.

Yes, we have special menus for younger guests, and under 5s are complimentary.

Yes – our chefs can prepare vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary options on request. To make things easier for everyone on the day, we recommend asking your guests about any dietary or allergy needs when you send out your wedding invitations. That way, we’ll have all the details in advance, and our kitchen team can make sure every guest feels included and well looked after.

Although we take extra precautions when advised of an allergen or intolerance, we cannot guarantee that our menu items are 100% free from all allergens due to the risk of cross-contamination in the preparation process.

Yes, guests benefit from special accommodation rates, and the newlyweds enjoy a complimentary King Suite on the night, depending on the package you pick.

Yes – all guests benefit from free parking at Future Inn Cardiff, which is rare in such a central location. Electric car charging is also available.

Yes, you’re welcome to personalise the room with your own decorations and suppliers, but we also work with trusted local partners if you’d like recommendations.

Yes – our packages include a dancefloor and a resident DJ (depending on the option you choose). You're also more than welcome to hire your own entertainment.

Yes, we’re licensed for civil ceremonies, so you can have your full celebration under one roof.

We usually take a deposit to secure your date, with the remaining balance due closer to the wedding. Our Wedding Coordinator can guide you through the payment schedule. However, if you prefer to make monthly payments, this can be arranged.

Outside catering is not permitted. However, we're happy for you to bring wedding favours, cakes, etc from outside suppliers.

Yes, of course. We’ll provide a cake stand and knife, and our team will happily cut and serve it for you.

We understand numbers can fluctuate. We always book the package for you at the minimum number. Closer to the wedding date, we'll do a final details meeting, where we can confirm the guest numbers.
