Blas Cambrian Taste is an initiative with Visit Wales promoting local food and drink businesses along The Cambrian Way from Cardiff to Llandudno.  It is divided into found main areas and includes places to buy and experience local food and drink including shops, delis, producers, markets, food festivals, cafes, pubs, restaurants and experiences.

Thomas Restaurant at Future Inn Cardiff

Thomas Restaurant is located in Future Inn Cardiff and serves British food, as well as contemporary and traditional Welsh cuisine. We pride ourselves on providing the best, mouth-watering dishes using fresh local ingredients. With a homemade Taste of Wales Afternoon Tea and a dedicated Welsh menu which includes;

  • Cig carw wedi'i ffrio gan Gymru | Welsh Pan-fried Venison with bitter chocolate jus, summer cabbage and fondant potato
  • Pastai Bysgod | Fish Pie with mackerel, cod, prawns, mashed potato topped with melted Camembert with a side of greens and shallot salad
  • Caws Pob Cymraeg | Welsh Rarebit with rhubarb compote 
  • Cawl | Welsh lamb stew, blue cheese and homemade crusty bread

A selection of local drinks are also served including Brecon Gin, Penderyn Whiskey, Vodka Five, Merlin Liqueur and a selection from Brains Brewery.
