Our modern yet elegant function suites offer a stylish setting to take your vows, enjoy a wedding breakfast or celebrate into the early hours. From a small, intimate wedding to a grander affair, our suites can accommodate your guests up to 210 people.
All of the wedding suites are licensed for civil ceremonies and are fully air-conditioned with plenty of natural daylight, and offer a neutral colour scheme which will complement any wedding theme.
We know that catering at your wedding is important. All of our food is homemade on-site by our talented chefs, using some of the finest local produce and ingredients.
Children are more than welcome to join your celebration, and we have lots of options for younger guests. In fact, under 5s are complimentary.
As our food is homemade in-house, we can assist anyone with a special diet or allergies and intolerances. Including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free.
Our Cardiff hotel has 197 bedrooms to choose from which are suitable for families, couples, groups or wedding guests. All bedrooms are finished with authentic Canadian furniture, a nod to our heritage, soft furnishings and a bath or shower room.
Perks include free parking and electric car charging, free Wi-Fi and a complimentary robe and slippers in your room, plus home away from home services like our guest laundry room and ice-buckets and our ice machine, which you can help yourself to. There is also free entry to Simply Gym, across from the hotel.

Our evening-only wedding package is perfect if you are getting married abroad or just want to join us for the party element of your wedding day. This is also a perfect option for a more informal celebration.
Unlike other wedding venues, there are no restrictions for our evening-only celebrations. The wedding package is available all year, seven days a week. That's right, even on Saturday nights!

Future Inns Cardiff is the ideal wedding venue for people or guests with disabilities or reduced mobility and wheelchair users. Our disabled facilities and fully accessible hotel offer a range of accessories to accommodate different needs.
There is step-free access to every area. All of the wedding suites are on the ground floor, with wide corridors and large door frames.
Picture twinkling fairy lights, mulled wine or hot chocolate, candle-lit lanterns, and sumptuous food for those charming seasonal vibes. Turning leaves and crisp, frosty days make for great wedding photos. Winter colour palettes introduce a whole new level to developing your wedding aesthetic - think warm oranges and reds or blues and silver of the New Year.
Just over a mile from Cardiff City Centre and within walking distance of plentiful nearby attractions and local events, Future Inn Cardiff boasts easy access to the A4232 and M4 in South Wales. The wedding venue is just a 5-minute walk from Cardiff Bay Train Station, and buses stop on the opposite side of the road at Cardiff County Hall. Making our venues suitably accessible for guests travelling to attend your big day.
Future Inns is also a cycle-friendly hotel, easily accessible from the Taff Trail and Cardiff Bay Barrage, with a large secure cycle rack. For those travelling from the city centre, The Aquabus (water taxi) runs hourly from Cardiff Bay between 1000 and 1700.
All guests at Future Inns and Thomas Restaurant get free parking. We ask that car registration details are input on one of the consoles in the restaurant or hotel reception upon arrival. This is to avoid being sent a parking penalty notice. Have an electric car? Take advantage of our electric car charging.
Standard booking terms and conditions apply. All wedding dates are subject to availability. A deposit and a signed contract are required at the time of booking to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance can be paid in instalments and is required to be paid in full four weeks before the event. All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-amendable.

With us, as far as you like. However, Cardiff Registry Office will have their own calendar to make sure they have the date, time and availability for the celebrants.
If you want to get married at Future inns, this will depend on the availability of celebrants at the Cardiff Registry Office. If our wedding and event spaces are available, we can do short notice.
Payments can be made by credit or debit card (excluding American Express) or bank transfer. All payments are to be made in advance of the booking date.
A £500 deposit is required to secure the wedding date along with your signed contract. Please note, that we recommend checking with Cardiff Registry Office’s availability beforehand.
A further £500 is to be paid 6 months before the wedding day, and the final balance cleared 4-6 weeks prior to the wedding date.
The responsibility to book the Registrar is with the couple getting married. For weddings at Future Inns, this is with Cardiff Registry Office.
This is not an option we provide. However, we are happy to make recommendations.
The ceremony time will need to be confirmed with Cardiff Registry Office. We recommend between 1-3pm, however, this is entirely up to you. The Reception is usually held 2-3 hours afterwards to give you time for photographs and to mingle with your guests.
Future Inn Cardiff is licensed for weddings indoors. However, there is an outside area – in front of Thomas Restaurant - for all guests to use.
Typically, after the ceremony has finished you and your guests will have photographs taken. There is then time for refreshments. During this time, our wedding team and any suppliers you have booked will change the event space around ready for everyone to sit down for a meal. If you are having additional evening guests, there may be an additional need to change the room around and for entertainment to set up.
