Here at Future Inn Cardiff, we are delighted that you are considering us as the venue to host your special wedding day.  As it is so important, the team take pride in ensuring that from the moment you arrive you can relax and celebrate with family and friends.

From your initial enquiry until the big day itself our dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator will be on hand to help support you in creating that memorable day so you can relax and celebrate and you will have cherished memories to look back on. 

Our Wedding Function Suites

Our modern yet elegant function suites offer a stylish setting to take your vows, enjoy a wedding breakfast or celebrate into the early hours.  From an intimate feel to a grander affair, our suites can accommodate your guests up to 210 people.

All of the suites are licensed for civil ceremonies and are fully air-conditioned with plenty of natural daylight and offer a neutral colour scheme which will compliment any wedding theme.

Food Glorious Food

We know that the catering at your wedding is important.  All of our food is homemade on site by our talented chef’s, using some of the finest local produce and ingredients. Children are more than welcome to join your celebration and we have lots of options for younger guests.

Weddings FAQs 

With us, as far as you like. However, Cardiff Registry Office will have their own calendar to make sure they have the date, time and availability for the celebrants. 

If you want to get married at Future inns, this will depend on the availability of celebrants at the Cardiff Registry Office. If our wedding and event spaces are available, we can do short notice.

Payments can be made by credit or debit card (excluding American Express) or bank transfer. All payments are to be made in advance of the booking date. 

A £500 deposit is required to secure the wedding date along with your signed contract. Please note, that we recommend checking with Cardiff Registry Office’s availability beforehand.

A further £500 is to be paid 6 months before the wedding day, and the final balance cleared 4-6 weeks prior to the wedding date.

The responsibility to book the Registrar is with the couple getting married. For weddings at Future Inns, this is with Cardiff Registry Office. 

This is not an option we provide. However, we are happy to make recommendations.

The ceremony time will need to be confirmed with Cardiff Registry Office. We recommend between 1-3pm, however, this is entirely up to you. The Reception is usually held 2-3 hours afterwards to give you time for photographs and to mingle with your guests. 

Future Inn Cardiff is licensed for weddings indoors. However, there is an outside area – in front of Thomas Restaurant - for all guests to use. 

Typically, after the ceremony has finished you and your guests will have photographs taken. There is then time for refreshments. During this time, our wedding team and any suppliers you have booked will change the event space around ready for everyone to sit down for a meal. If you are having additional evening guests, there may be an additional need to change the room around and for entertainment to set up.
