Europe’s largest live street and graffiti art festival is back

Friday 15 to Sunday 31 May 2026

At this summer festival, fans can expect to see incredible murals emerge in the streets of Bedminster. The 17-day programme will deliver colourful mural painting, creative workshops, live events and community-led projects across Bedrminster, Southville and new locations across Bristol. 

Upfest is a highly anticipated event on Bristol’s cultural calendar. The programme attracts over 50,000 visitors to the festival and thousands more throughout the year. Previous editions have brought phenomenal, large-scale murals to Bedminster, including Kobra’s iconic John Lennon mural and Insane51’s 3D piece featuring Greek Goddess NYX.

Across multiple venues, there will be free-to-attend workshops, artist talks, art activities, panel discussions, and Street Art Tours, supported by Arts Council England. This is alongside 17 days of live painting of street art in Bristol and music from over 200 artists. You can also visit exhibition spaces at the Upfest Gallery, The Tobacco Factory, North Street Standard and St Paul's Crypt.
