The very popular music festival takes place in The Downs on 31 August - 1 September 2024
The Downs Bristol is one of the biggest festivals in Bristol. With 3 stages, the festival aims to present a contemporary curation of music while paying homage to Bristol’s long-standing history of being a music city. Forwards Festival returns on Saturday 31 August and Sunday 1 September 2024.
The lineup in 2023 included Erykah Badu, Bonobo, Raye, Confidence Man, Ezra Collective, Aphex Twin, Primal Scream, Arlo Parks and Leftfield.
2024 headliners are to be announced.
The two-day event is for all the family and ensures younger music fans have a great time; the Children’s Area is returning bigger and better than ever, with activities, workshops, dancing and much more.

Chophouse Restaurant is ideal for fueling up before or after the event. The team serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, or an evening a-la-carte menu. All produce is local, and the food is homemade on-site. Our set menu offers 3 courses for £26 daily from 5pm. Under 5's always eat for free.
