Bristol Light Festival 2026
The Bristol Light Festival is a celebration of local and international talent
The award-winning free festival brings colour, light, and play to the city centre through a series of commissions from local and internationally renowned artists. The festival trail will illuminate some unexpected locations as well as some of the city’s well-trodden paths.
The Light Festival will take visitors along several different routes from Cabot Circus - opposite Future Inn Bristol - to Park Street. You'll pass Castle Bridge, Temple Gardens, Queen Square, Harbourside and St George’s Bristol, discovering different installations along the way.
Taking place between Thursday 19 and Saturday 28 February 2026. The installations will shine from 5pm-9.30pm every night during the festival.
The best part? It's all free, as pieces will be placed throughout the city centre.
