It is important to us that no one misses out on any element of a wedding day or feels left out.
Future Inn Bristol is the ideal wedding venue for people or guests with disabilities or reduced mobility and wheelchair users. Our disabled facilities and fully accessible hotel offer a range of accessories to accommodate different needs.
We believe all individuals and couples getting married deserve dignity and equality. You aren’t a burden, and if there is anything we can do before a meeting or for the big day itself to make things easier for you, please ask. We'll always be honest. Step-Free Access to Every Area
Let's start with your arrival. Getting into the building is easy, as there are no steps or ramps to compete with. There is a drop-off zone at the back of the hotel, which has a 15-minute time limit. However, Blue Badge holders can park here, on a first-come, first-served basis. You will also need to register your car at Reception to avoid being sent a parking penalty notice.
If you are arriving in a wedding car, there's a drop-off spot in front of the main doors.
Once inside the building, there are elevators to access all the floors. These are large, and the wide corridors allow you to navigate easily. The wedding and function suites are found on the top floor.
Bristol Wedding Reception Venues
Our modern yet elegant function suites offer a stylish setting to take your vows, enjoy a wedding breakfast or celebrate into the early hours. With six different event suites, there's plenty of choice. Your big day can be personal, private and exclusive from 2 to 200 guests.
There is a disabled toilet, with bars and handrails, in the events corridor next to the other bathrooms. This is a short distance away. Each wedding is individually set up, so we can make sure there is enough room for a wheelchair user to view the ceremony comfortably and have easy access to the dining tables.
Accessible Hotel
The accessible room has a King-size double and the option to add a sofa bed. All accessible bedrooms have the same facilities as standard bedrooms. Within the room, you can expect ample turning space for wheelchair users.
For guests who are deaf, a vibrating pillow can be provided. These pillow alarms are designed for individuals with hearing impairments and will alert guests and visitors in the building to evacuate in the event of a fire alarm activation.
The private bathroom has an accessible shower with grab rails and an emergency cord. The sink, towel rail and shelving have been lowered. You'll find complimentary toiletries and space to keep your things within easy reach.
Chophouse Restaurant
The open-plan restaurant is on the ground floor, so no ramps or alternative routes are needed. There is booth seating and tables where a chair can be easily removed for a wheelchair. An accessible toilet is found in the bar area.

How to Get to Future Inns
In the heart of Bristol City Centre, Future Inns is within easy access of the M32 and M5. The wedding venue is just a mile from Bristol Temple Meads Station, and buses stop on the opposite side of the road. Ample free parking is available at Cabot Circus, next door to the venue. Making our venues suitably accessible for wedding guests travelling to attend your next meeting.
Car Parking
Free parking is available for all hotel guests, with one car per room, at the Cabot Circus multi-storey car park, located directly opposite the hotel. Any additional vehicles will need to be paid for separately. Chophouse Restaurant diners get 50% off parking. The process is the same - please give your vehicle registration number at Reception. Plus, business conference visitors can access discounted parking if arranged in advance. The car park is within the Bristol Clean Air Zone; however, entry and exit via Houlton Street avoids the chargeable zone. We recommend double-checking your car's eligibility before travelling. A drop-off parking zone located at the back of the hotel, also within the Bristol Clean Air Zone, allows you a strict 15-minute time limit to unload. Limited blue badge parking is also available here, which must be registered at Reception on a first-come, first-served basis.
Terms and Conditions
Standard booking terms and conditions apply. All wedding dates are subject to availability. A deposit and a signed contract are required at the time of booking to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance can be paid in instalments and is required to be paid in full four weeks before the event. All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-amendable.
