Who can book a prom at Future Inn Bristol?
We welcome bookings from secondary schools, sixth forms, colleges, and academies across Bristol and the South West. We also host leavers’ parties, graduation balls, and end-of-year celebrations for other educational organisations and youth groups.
What dates are available for school proms?
Proms can be held on weekdays or weekends, depending on availability. We recommend booking early for dates following GCSE or A-Level exams in June and July, as these are our busiest months.
Can we customise the menu or include dietary requirements?
Yes, we can. Our kitchen team is experienced in preparing meals for various dietary requirements. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll ensure everyone is safely catered for.
Although we take extra precautions when advised of an allergen or intolerance, we cannot guarantee that our menu items are 100% free from all allergens due to the risk of cross-contamination in the preparation process.
Is entertainment included?
Yes, our prom package includes a resident DJ and a dancefloor as standard. You’re also welcome to bring additional entertainment like photobooths, live bands, magicians or sweet carts. (We just ask for a copy of their public liability insurance, and ask that any of their electrical equipment is PAT tested) Just let us know in advance so we can accommodate the setup.
Is it an alcohol-free event?
Yes. Our proms are strictly alcohol-free to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all students. We provide a private soft drinks bar and mocktails instead, and our trained staff and security are present throughout the evening.
Is a deposit required to secure the booking?
Yes. A deposit is required to confirm your date, with the remaining balance due before the event. We’ll provide full details during the booking process and can offer payment plans if needed.
Can we display a photo slideshow or video during the event?
Yes! We can provide a projector or TV screens to showcase memories from your school years or prom committee videos. Simply bring your content on a USB stick or laptop, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Can we decorate the room ourselves?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your own decorations, centrepieces, or themed props.
Is there parking available for guests and limos?
Yes. There’s a convenient drop-off and pick-up point for limos and minibuses directly in front of the hotel. There's also pay-and-display parking next door to the hotel in Cabot Circus Car Park.
Is the event supervised?
Yes. Every prom hosted at Future Inn Bristol is supervised by our professional events team and venue staff. We also include dedicated security personnel as part of the prom package to help ensure a safe and enjoyable evening for all students. We will also ask for a minimum number of teachers and school representatives to attend.
What time does the prom start and finish?
Start and end times are flexible and tailored to the school’s preferences, but typically proms run from around 6pm to 11pm. The final timings will be confirmed by the school and prom organisers.
How to Get Here
Close to the business district and within walking distance of plentiful nearby attractions, Future Inn Bristol boasts easy access to the M32 and M5. The venue is just a mile from Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station, and buses stop on the opposite side of the road. Ample parking is available at nearby Cabot Circus. Making our Bristol exhibition venue suitably accessible for delegates travelling to attend your event.

Accessibility
Despite its top-floor location, the centre is entirely accessible, thanks to lift access, wide doors and corridors, and fully accessible toilets. All hotel public areas and meeting spaces are accessible for wheelchair users. Meanwhile, disabled parking bays behind the hotel offer direct access to the lobby.
