English Tourism Week 2026 at Future Inns

The Annual Event Takes Place Between 13 – 22 March 2026

As spring blooms across the English countryside, it's time to celebrate one of the nation's most vibrant and resilient industries: tourism. English Tourism Week is an annual event that highlights tourism's importance to our communities.

Tourism isn’t just about holidays. It’s about opportunity, regeneration, partnerships and pride in place.

Tourism in England

English Tourism Week 2026 is just around the corner, and at Future Inns, we’re proud to be part of a sector that does so much for our communities, our guests and the wider economy.

The annual campaign is led by VisitEngland and is a celebration designed to showcase the quality, range and value of English hotels, restaurants, visitor attractions and local activities.

This year's theme, "Local Stories. National Growth. Celebrating English Tourism Week,"  recognises the powerful role tourism plays in boosting regional growth while supporting businesses and livelihoods across the country.

And the numbers speak for themselves. According to the latest Economic Value of Tourism in the UK report:

  • Tourism in England is worth £127 billion to the UK economy.

  • Inbound and domestic visitors' spend in England totals £108 billion per year.

  • English tourism supports around 2.1 million jobs nationwide.

As we celebrate English Tourism Week, let's reaffirm our commitment to supporting tourism as the heart of our communities. Whether you're a business owner, a traveller, or a resident, your contributions play a vital role in shaping the future of this dynamic industry.

Show your support for English Tourism Week on social media. Use the hashtag #EnglishTourismWeek26, and tag @VisitEnglandBiz
