Everything you Need to Know about The Cardiff Christmas Market 2016

Planning your Christmas Festivities? If so, don’t miss out on the Cardiff Christmas Market 2016. It has a broad selection of traditional delights that we promise will awaken your senses: aromas of scrumptious spiced mulled wine, gingerbread and German sausages fill the air as you take a stroll through the crisp, cold streets, taking in the festive atmosphere. The market hosts a number of stalls including, traditional food and drink, unique hand-made toys, Christmas decorations and scented candles, there really is something for everyone.  Our Cardiff hotel is conveniently located close to the city centre and within close proximity to the Cardiff Christmas Market.

We know it’s only October but if you’re planning on visiting the market then here's all the information you will need.

Where is the market?

The Christmas market stalls will be in the pedestrian areas of St John Street, St John's Church, Working Street, The Hayes, Hills Street and Trinity Street.

When does the market open?

The market opens on 10 November 2016

What are the opening and closing hours?

Monday to Saturday - 10am to 5.30pm
Sunday -  10am to 5pm
Every Thursday throughout December - 10am to 7pm

When does the market end?

The last day of trading is Friday, December 23, when the market will close at 4pm.

What will I see?

There will be an array of fantastic, unique gifts on each of the stalls – and most of them are, of course, Welsh. To name just a few, there will be Welsh slate products, wooden hand-made toys, Christmas decorations and scented candles.



What will there be to eat?

There’s an extensive range of food and drink on offer - from mulled wine and cream liqueurs to hand-made chocolates, cupcakes, brownies, cheese, Wine…need we go on? Let’s say you’re unlikely to leave hungry.
