Within Future Inn Cardiff Bay, Thomas Restaurant and Bar serves great British food with a Contemporary Welsh Flavour. Our restaurant uses the finest locally sourced ingredients presented in an informal relaxed manner, offering fresh food all day everyday in an inviting, fresh, contemporary environment. Thomas Restaurant and Bar is delighted to be the sole supplier of food and beverage to the Future Inn.
Opening Times
Thomas is open to serve breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner all day everyday from 7.00am until 10.00pm and 9.30pm on Sunday. No booking is required but if you do want to secure a table please call the number below.

Enjoy lazy Sundays with family and friends with our feast of delights at our traditional Sunday Carvery. You can look forward to a choice of three roast meats including vegetarian option served with unlimited vegetables, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puds (made fresh) and all the traditional trimmings.
Our Sunday Carvery is priced at £9.95 per person for 2 courses with unlimited helpings and we don’t mean only the vegetables!

Sunday Carvery menu changes on a weekly basis.
Our Kidz corner is an area where we provide younger members of your group with play packs containing paper, colouring pencils, crayons and plasma screen TV with DVDs of cartoons and children’s movies. Kidz corner is an unsupervised area and children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
There’s a wide range of beers and lagers and plenty of wines to choose from – almost all of which are available by the glass as well as the bottle. Naturally, there’s a good choice of soft drinks too, including refreshing fruit juices.
Sunday Carvery starts from 12 noon until 7pm. Parking is free and under 5s eat for free!
