Charity Partner

Future Inns Selects Tŷ Hafan as Nominated Charity

In a bold initiative to spearhead their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Future Inns UK Limited is pleased to announce Tŷ Hafan as their nominated charity partner with whom they will be working closely, to enable it to benefit especially in times of budget cuts and where raising funds can be challenging.

Tŷ Hafan provides care and support for life-limited children, young people and their families, ensuring they make the most of every precious moment. Offering a less clinical, more homely environment for specialist palliative care, Tŷ Hafan offers the much needed source of strength, comfort and support for the whole family.

From diagnosis to bereavement and beyond, they provide support right into the heart of the family home offering this service completely free of charge to families.

As quality care comes at a price, not being part of the NHS means that they do not receive guaranteed statutory funding. Future Inns has decided to support Tŷ Hafan by placing their collection boxes at their three properties in Cardiff, Bristol and Plymouth. Other activities by Future Inns for Tŷ Hafan include selling badges and raising funds as well as donating proceeds from hotel hosted events. Guests will also be urged to give a little back by supporting the hotels’ nominated charity.

A number of charity events will take place to help raise much needed funds for Tŷ Hafan and these events will be featured on the Charity section on this website.

Frank Ady from Tŷ Hafan commented “On behalf of the children, young people and their families who use our services I would like to sincerely thank Future Inns for choosing us to be their nominated charity this year.

With an increasing number of children being referred to us over the last couple of years, support like this is vital to enable us to continue helping those families across Wales who need our help”.

Del Brett, Managing Director from Future Inns UK Limited commented “Future Inns is delighted to be involved with TY Hafan, the charity that offers specialist palliative care and provide invaluable support to the lives of sick children, young people and their families”.
